What Causes Intermittent Pain In The Chest While Having COPD And Emphysema?

I am 91, have copd, emphsema, kidney disease and starting about a week ago I get this pain on and off inside the rib cage at the bra line.I seem to be always cold w/ low temp. Is it possible I am allergic to the parakeets I just got about 2 weeks ago. Years ago I had Cockatiels but had to give them away because they were so dusty. I was hoping I could haandle the keets????????

I can understand your concern.
Yes, it is quite possible that you are allergic to Parakeets.
Better to get done allergy testing and if it shows that you have parakeet allergy then you need to keep them away from you.
Start montelukast (anti allergic) and levocetrizine (antihistamine).
Take your COPD treatment regularly.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
