What Causes Intermittent Pain Under Left Rib Cage?
Chest pain under the left it behind the rib cage comes and goes every day of the week what is it called and when I move and sit still on for awhile hurts and my primary doctor don t know what she is doing I ve been to x-rays and they can t tell you anything

HI, Thanks for the query. I understand your concern. The intermittent pain under rib cage can be- - collection of gas under diaphragm/muscle pull due to irritated nerve at local or spinal level of thoracic spine.. needs to be diagnosed by treating doctor/ investigations as per need.( stool exam/ xray thoracic spine ) - Management consists of treatment of digestive problem/ medicines or physiotherapy as per orthopedic surgeon's advise. Thanks.
