What Causes Intermittent Pinching Sensation On Left Side Of Throat?

I been having a pinch feeling on the left side of my throat on and off for a week doesn t hurt to swallow but the pinch feels so strong that makes my left eye watery and i have to start coughing to clear my throat and drink water right away and the sensation is always there on the left side of my throat.Im getting desperate

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of intermittent pinching sensation on left side of throat which seems to be due to excessive acid production, swelling of lymph nodes and due to upper respiratory tract infection or poor immunity of body. It is due to increased susceptibility of body of getting infected. Need not to worry. You should apply mist humidifiers in room. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. You should maintain oral hygiene. Do warm saline gargles. You can go for blood and sputum tests as well. You should take proper course of antibiotics along with antiinflammatory medications. You should not lay down immediately after having food. Avoid intake of cold carbonated beverages. Avoid intake of sharp spicy food.
