What Causes Intermittent Sharp Pain On The Left Side Of The Breast?

I have a sharp pain on my left side, just at the lower edge of my breast. It just showed up about a week ago and it has increased in frequency. It is not constant, but it hurts when I take a deep breath. I am 59 years and about 20 overweight. I have asymptomatic Lupus and had a gastric sleeve 3 years ago.

Hello welcome to the health care magic

Your left breast physical examination is to be done first by palpation

If any mass palpated than USG, FNAC like investigation needed

You have pain while breathing that suggest towards muscular strain pain

For that ibuprofen 200 mg for 5 days can be prescribed

Take care

Hope this will help you

Consult surgeon for examination and further work up accordingly
