What Causes Intermittent Sharp Pains In Back?

Hi Doctory Rynne, A friend of mine, male-age 53, has sporatic sharp pains on the right side of his back. He had experienced them previously, but thought they would go away once he had his gall bladder removed. Well..they didn t go away permanently. He s currently having pain, we did have a not so healthy dinner Saturday nite??? I don t know why that would give him back pain

I really appreciate your concern, such pain could be due to spinal disease it can be subsided with any NSAID and best would be "Tab Diclofenac 50 mg" sustain released once in day, I would advise to rule out the possibility of spinal degenerative disease, along with this bed rest is also important, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
