What Causes Intermittent Shoulder And Arm Pain Along With Arrhythmic Heart Beat?

I am 43 and during spin class I had left arm and shoulder pain. When I slowed down it seemed to dissipate. Feeling unwell I made a Dr apt. All blood test are clear. Except tribe and X-rays.However pain is coming on occasion and irregular heart beat remains.i went to a walkin clinic and he gave me Biaxin for a sinus infection, for a old cold that wouldn t stop. Lots of phlegm . I thought it was post nasal drip. I started to feel better after 2-3 days. My nose cleared and my shoulder pain lifted. But irregular heart beat remains,and some arm tingling at times. Am I septic? Is this related to heart - the infection?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have intermittent shoulder and arm pain along with arrhythmic heart beat . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like muscle spasm , nerve compression , cervical spondylosis , trapezius muscle problem or heart problem like angina . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist to rule out more serious condition . Doctor may order ECG , TMT , complete blood profile along with troponin t test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe isosorbide nitrate , aspirin , sedative along with beta blockers . Doctor may also refer you to orthopedic surgeon in case of bone muscle problem . For now stay calm , take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and take proper rest. Also apply warm compresses on shoulder and arm.
