What Causes Intermittent Sore And Itchy Rashes On A Child S Body?
My son is 4yrs old. He has had a skin condition that comes and goes. It develops small swellings that are itchy. They itch so much that it sometimes wakes him up from sleep. Most doctors tell me its allergy but they dont tell me what he is allergic to. Please advise.
Hello dear. Skin conditions generally take lot of time to heal. Allergy can arise due to several reasons. 1. Certain foods like egg, fish etc. 2. Pollen grains in air 3. Plants like parthenium around 4. Animal hairs like cats, dogs 5. Certain cloth like terylene 6. Certain drugs Allegy can arise due to anything. It is up to us to identify what we are allergic to. A doctor cannot determine Remedies- 1. Identify the allergen and stay away from it 2. Take medications a s prescribed by the doctor Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you. All the best With warm regards Dr Sanjay Kini
