Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Intermittent Spotting And Prolonged Bleeding?
I have been bleeding for about a month. A week before my period was due I started spotting lightly then on 13th June AF came and ended 21st June. That was longer than usual and it was very light. Using around a pad a day. 2 days after my period ended I started spotting again and am still. Is this a serious problem? Please help me.
I really appreciate your concern. This kind of spotting could be due to hormonal imbalance in your body. It is not a serious problem. If a lady comes with similar symptoms to my clinic then I would ask her about whether she taking any hormonal contraceptive or other contraceptive techniques. Then I can draw perfect conclusion of the symptoms. Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care.
Thank you.
Best Regards. Dr. Manan
