For quite a while now I have been having problems with what I believe are the glands in my neck or at least in that general area. I can t really even touch my neck without gagging - sometimes swollen other times not. I know I should see a Dr but am worried about what it could be...
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns. .You have noticed lumps in your neck for a long time. These nodules are more than likely lymph nodes and are very common. The number and size of the lymph nodes would determine if they are anything to be concerned about. The most common cause of enlarged lymph nodes is an infection or cold. I would recommend seeing your medical provider and have them check your neck to be sure what you may have. More than probable is that these are benign and nothing to worry about.
