What Causes Intermittent Vaginal Bleeding Along With Rectal Pressure?

hi I am 37 years old. I have previously had a right sided femoral hernia repair 16 years ago and 3 ceasearans in 2002, 2004, and 2011. I also had a d& c in 2009 due to a miscarriage. For the pas month I have had right sided pelvic pain along with rectal pressure and for the past week I have had viginal bleeding. My last period was 26 DEC and they have never been regular. I use condoms at contraception. I went to see my gp two days ago. She did an examination and said she can see a fibroid but that the ovaries feel fine. I am to have a pelvic scan next week. If I didn t have the vaginal bleeding I would think its my hernia again as the pain is worse when I lift or bend but the bleeding and the rectal pressure is scaring me.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, what the symptoms you have or the presentation may not be due to hernia again but it could be due to hormone level changes but it is good idea, to go for ultrasonography test, else it is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
