What Causes Intermittent Vaginal Bleeding While On Depo Shot?
Hey my name Diana and after I had my baby September 15 2015 I had got a depo shot on tha 18th and haven t had nall since and now I ll bleed stop and then start back I m jus spotting everytime i get something I feel sick I don t kno if I m pregnant or what every time i take a pregnant test it always sayy negative and my stomach keep bothering me
I can understand your concern. spotting between periods, unusual menstrual cycles and some GI upset along with bloated stomach are all side effects of the Depo shot you have taken. They will decrease and resolve as time will pass and your body will get adapted to the shot effects.
However, if you observe excessive bleeding that is not stopping, foul vaginal odor or fever, you should contact your gynecologist as they are signs of infection.
I hope this answer helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon!
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
