What Causes Internal Pain In Right Side After Drinking Alcohol?
I have internal pain in my right side after I have had alcoholic beverages . . had blood work done and scans with dye for a thorough check up and everything looks good except my triglycerides are higher than normal, but all else falls in normal range and I don t have diabetes . . any idea what s causing internal pain after I drink? And I have been drinking regularly for some time.
Your symptoms can be caused by gallbladder disease like gallstones in the gallbladder.
You may feel pain in the upper abdomen and upper back. Also nausea and vomiting may occur.
High triglycerides can increase the risk of the stones so it is important to lose weight, limit fatty food, get more exercise and limit alcohol consumption.
I would order an ultrasound of the abdomen to look for the cause of our symptoms.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
