What Causes Interstitial Cystitis Along With Excruciating Clitoral Pain?
I have been DX with interstitial cystitis, pelvic floor dysfunction, etc. I am in pain 24/7, have a bladder instillation scheduled... I am now experiencing clitorial PAIN that is maddening. It feels as if it s electric shock or spasming. I have researched ALOT and know about the pidendal nerve and I believe I am experiencing pidendal nerve entrapment, compression, something.... Anyway, I read that a possible irritant could be a buildup of sebum under the clitoral hood. Since I am in so much pain, I will do ANYTHING. I just checked it ever so gently and I indeed had ALOT of white discharge around and up into the hood. I was unable to use a Q-tip to get it out. It would not move. I don t know if it s sebum or puss to be honest. Is it possible this could be puss? And if so, what are the possible causes?

White discharge under hood of clitoris can cause itching, irritation and inflammation of part and clitoris being rich in nerve and blood supply can have the pain you describe. The same lesion would cause frequency, pain and burning in urination taken as cystitis.
It's a very delicate and sensitive part of genitals so don't mess with it yourself. Please consult a gynecologist. By inspection and physical examination along with microscopic swab culture test, the exact diagnosis would be made followed by specific treatment.
