What Causes Inverted Nipples Along With Tender And Sensitive Breasts?
Hello I am a 30 year old woman that has always had inverted nipples however, the last few weeks my breasts have been very tender and sensitive and my nipples mainly erect. This is unusual for me. I have been on the depo provera injections for many years and not had a period in over 10 years so have no idea where I would be in my cycle. Any ideas please? Is it just age?

If this is only on side, may indicate beginning of a breast abscess, especially if there is overlying redness or heat.
If confirmed this will need antibiotic treatment and sometimes a drainage.
