What Causes Inverted Nipples, Mild Pain And Swelling?
I have recently had twinges of fleeting and slight pain in one breast. (Female) today it was more bothersome right around the nipple which is inverted (not usual) and sore. I do not feel any lumps but the nipple area looks more enlarged as well. Could it be an injury? I do not recall any recent injuries.

The inverted nipple does raise some questions and so I recommend a visit to your gynecologist. If any other symptoms like nipple discharge, change in structure or appearance of your breast occur then please do visit your doctor immediately. But this could also be due to a hormonal imbalance or various other causes.
