My eyes were going back and forth last night as I sat in bed. Made me feel so bad I thought I was going to die so I closed my eyes and laid down and it went away. I feel fine today. I take 400mg Magnesium pills almost every day for my ear noise problem but I think I took too much Magnesium and it caused the problem????

Hello,

Yes, the magnesium dose you are taking is too high. I would suggest to lower the dose (200 mg a day) or quit taking it if you have been taking for more than 1 month.

It may have been the cause of the eye movement.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mirjeta Guni, Endocrinologist
