What Causes Involuntary Jerking Of The Head In Sleep While On Prednisone?

My husband started prednisone Saturday and has been jerking in his sleep the last two nights. His head will lift off the pillow then rest back down. This happens continuously every 10-15 seconds. Are the two related?He has terrible leg pain but does not react like this normally. Just curious. I think he is asleep when this is happening.

your husband is having a neurological problem but he should not have started prednisolone it will mask the symptoms and can createcomplication of steroid use it can create problem like diabetes hyper tension and other problem like cataract and glaucoma. now tapering is to be done.
