General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
The MRI must have shown possible abnormality in central nervous system. It's a good sign to have normal growth of child. The medicine must have been given to prevent any problem in future. Please continue with the drug as advised. In case you are very much doubtful, you can discuss the thing with prescribing doctor, get a second opinion of pediatric neurophysician and understand about the problem very well.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
