Hi a 40 year old female that for 2 years has been treated for chclothymia .i my mum said iit stated when my dad died at age 11 and when i had my first child at 16. The amount and severity of the involuntary movements of eye balls matter a lot for the clinical relevance. As occasional eye flickering is absolutely normal and benign condition observed in around every 3rd person of the universe without any ill condition or pathology. If there is much frequent occurrence of the same with underlying anatomic disposition of eye, associated strabismus, visual acquity problems, headache, vertigo or others - one has to be cautious and be presented to expert neurologist for further guidelines of management.
