General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The amount and severity of the involuntary movements of eye balls matter a lot for the clinical relevance. As occasional eye flickering is absolutely normal and benign condition observed in around every 3rd person of the universe without any ill condition or pathology. If there is much frequent occurrence of the same with underlying anatomic disposition of eye, associated strabismus, visual acquity problems, headache, vertigo or others - one has to be cautious and be presented to expert neurologist for further guidelines of management.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
