What Causes Involuntary Scratching Of The Skin Causing Visible Scars?
I m constantly picking at my skin to the extent of when i am sleeping. this usually occurs on my face, arms, legs, shoulders and back. it has been occurring for a while and i have very visible scars and damage on my skin from this. i have tremendous urge to pick and i even do it unknowingly. i don t know what is going on, is there anything you think may be causing this or a sickness?

As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like Betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
