What Causes Involuntary Speech And Memory Issues Post Alcohol Intake?

I spent a relaxing evening with my family after a very busy week, had a few drinks, I was exhausted, blacked out around 9:30, went to bed but was very awful verbally to my son - I said things I don t even feel/think. I didn t show any signed of being drunk and didn t feel drunk, but I don t remember anything after 9:30, and said some really awful things. This has been happening a lot in the last year.

Hello,

Generally the person that gets drunk does not realize he is drunk, the critical thinking is affected by alcohol so even though you did not feel drunk when the episodes happened the fact that after taking alcohol you did black out, spoke things you did not mean or feel and were awful verbally to your son all are signs of being drunk.

It is important to ask medical help how to quit using alcohol, there are many things that your doctor can help you with.
Alcohol can really affect family relationships and also you health.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
