What Causes Involuntary Sticking Out Of The Tongue And Drooling?

I am 24-years old and I have a problem with a tongue protrusion. Wheneve I am relaxed or in a state of thought , I ve realized my tongue would stick out slightly. I have had this problem since I was a child which I noticed on numerous family photos. This seems to happen a lot when I sleep and drooling usually occurs. What could be the reason for this and how can Fix this problem doctor.I don t have any breathing or nasal problems.
