General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms you explain can be caused by several conditions from stress and anxiety to organic diseases.
I would advise you to have the following tests:
- TSH and FT4 to rule out problems with the thyroid
- basic metabolic profile (fasting glucose, urea and electrolytes, creatinine, liver tests, urinalysis, lipids, etc)
- a thorough physical examination, including a neurological exam

If all the tests come out normal then depression or anxiety may be the cause and you may need to be treated for these.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
