Hello. Tubal ligation by itself does not cause any irregularities in the menstrual cycle. However, a more likely cause is that you are just out of delivery and are presumably breast feeding youe child. Breast feeding releases certain hormones which prevent the normal menstrual cycle to start - hence most commonly there are no periods or less commonly irregular bleeding. Since the bleeding that you are experiencing is quite severe, I suggest you consider visiting your gynaecologist if the bleeding does not stop by itself in 2-3 days - as prolonged severe bleeding can cause blood loss significant enough to cause dizziness and falls. This assumes importance especially as you are in the post delivery phase and Iron requirement by the body is high. Consume a healthy diet rich in iron like green leafy vegetables, nuts and liver.
