What Causes Irregular And Prolonged Periods Despite Taking Duoluton?

Doctor i am getting periods once in 3 months and this time i got on feb 15 and still nw it doesnt stop. i went to a doctor she asked me to take scan and the scan report says 1,features suggestive of bilateral polycystic ovaries. 2,Prominent endometrium(endometrium measures 11 mm) nw she gave me livogen XT and Duoluton.L. I had more bleeding yesterday i took this duoluton yesterday night. now please tell me when will the periods stop. still its bleeding for me even nw.

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
Polycystic ovaries causes Harmonal imbalance that causes heavy periods or amenorrhea.
Losing weight and metformin will help besides Duoluton. Also take Tranexamic acid capsule 500mg three times a day.
If the problem still persists then go for D&C with histopathology of specimen.
