What Causes Irregular Heart Beats And Anxiety After A Hysterectomy?
I had a complete hysterectomy 5/2106. I started having issues with irregular heartbeat and high blood pressure, anxiety, etc. that was corrected when drs realized my thyroid meds (Synthroid) was too high... 200mg down to 150 then back up to 175. Been good for 4-5 months. Now irregular heartbeat started again skipped beats and extra beats. Dr lowered Synthroid to 150 for 4 days and then told me to alternate every other day 150 with 175. Been 4 days but no better. Could it be something else? Had cardiac workup during problems last year and dr said okay just have a normal high heart rate (problems had pretty much resolved by then). Any suggestions?
* The issue with irregular heartbeats with anxiety are secondarily mediated via hormone fluctuations affecting the sympathetic and parasympathetic response of the body or following estrogen level changes secondary to complete hysterectomy.
