What Causes Irregular Heart Beats While On Methylprednisolone?
Am on methylprednisolone 4 mg for the last four days (and also had shot in hip of solumderol) for severe muscle cramps in leg with swollen knee involvement. Swelling went down in one day, cramping ceased by the second day, Now am having irregular heartbeats...... could drinking a bottle of Sprite each day be reacting with the meds?

The irregular heart beats is not related to steroid.
If symptoms persist you can consult a cardiologist and get a serial EKG monitoring to rule out conditions like cardiac arrhythmia.
