What Causes Irregular Menstrual Bleeding And Weakness In Legs?
I am getting my period 2-3 times a month. pink in color and last a day or two, then I get it for 5-6 days of nonstop clotting and very dark red for the one before and after the pink. Why is this happening to me??? It s been like this for a few months now. I am stressed out quite a bit of the time, but I think it has to be more then that. My legs get weak and I have a lot of very bad cramping. Help me please!

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
HI, I understand your concern. Frequent episodes of heavy bleeding naturally causes weakness/ anemia which leads to leg cramps. Treatment should aim at finding the basic cause & have specific treatment there after. Hormonal disturbances ( FUH,ovarian,thyroid,problems/ pcod ), Some uterine conditions ( Polyp, fibroid, infection ) can lead to the problem. You need to undergo investigations after primary evaluation of your health done by a gynecologist. .. followed by specific treatment. Thanks.
