General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it can be due to pelvic inflammatory disease and it's better to get ultrasound pelvis as well as high vaginal swab cultures.

You may need to have antibiotics course. If any structural lesion or fibroids are seen may need a complete hysterectomy.

These symptoms are less likely to be perimenopausal though.

Gynecologist review can be further sought.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
