Hi I am malar .... my doctor said me to take akt 4tablet for 6mths but now I finished 3mths.. I have Whirregular period.every mtg 25th day I will take metprate tablet then I will get my periods but tis mth even take metprate tablet but I nt get my periods now 8.2.2016 I have to get periods but15.2.2016but still now I have nt get my periods If there is possible to concive

HI Malar, Thanks for the query. I understand your concern. AKT is a multidrug regieme treatment for TB.TB being a debilitating disease, affects health badly . It is common to have irregular periods due to disease itself.. it is not a side effect of the drug. If you have irregular periods along with all other symptoms, you should consult a gynecologist & get some cyclical hormonal treatment along with the drug & good nutrition.& more extensive treatment of the disease ... to keep your genitals free from the disease.
