What Causes Irregular Periods After A D & C Procedure?

I was on oral ovulating drugs to help me get pregnant. I had a miscarriage a year ago and had a D and C. Since then my periods have been irregular. My period date was supposed to be 26th of this month. So far i did not get my periods but see slight reddish discharge after i urinate. Rest of the time theres no discharge nor bleeding. Am i pregnant and having a miscarriage again or is this periods?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to remaining parts in the uterus or due to not ovulating or due to pregnancy or stress or UTI or due to hormonal pills.

So please get repeated scan abdomen with a urine pregnancy test. Also, check for urine infection or trauma.

Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
