What Causes Irregular Periods After A Miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage back in April 8, 2015 and I ve felt like ever since then something is completely wrong w/not being able to have kids and my periods have gotten worse and extremely irregular. I also couldn t donate blood the last two times (they believe I m anemic) Moving on to now, As of April 14,2016-April 18,2016 I had my period. However, April 28,2016 I had spotting when I wiped and it has still been going on,but a bit heavier. I would just like to know what could this mean or be? Or what could this be a sign of? I m so confused and need desperate answers :(

Hello and thank you for your question
Whenever you have a miscarriage your hormones get out of balance and it can take many months for them to get back to normal. If you want to speed up this process you might ask your doctor to put you on birth control pills for 2-3 months to get your periods regulated again. Unless you have had more than 3 miscarriages then you do not need to worry about not being able to have kids. Many women lose early pregnancies and then go on to have normal pregnancies. If you have had more than 3 miscarriages then you need to work with a fertility specialist to determine the cause and get treatment
