What Causes Irregular Periods After Taking Ipill?
I (43 years) had unprotected sexs during night and have taken ipill the next day afternoon. Post ipill (with 2 days) I had bleeding. Thereafter I had periods, but the bleeding was very little for 2 days only and on the 3rd day there was little white discharge and the bleeding stopped. Request please let me know the possible reasons for this....am I pregnant ..should I go in for a pregnancy test ..please advise.. thanks!!!

I can understand your concern. Ipill contains levonorgestral 75 mg, when used for emergency contraception,it is observed lot of menstrual disturbances occur after its usage. You are definitely not pregnant. If you are regular with your sexual activity i would suggest combined ocps like ovral h which is used for 21 days and 7 days is left after that. This is the best method giving maximum protection. Donot worry about your pregnancy.
