What Causes Irregular Periods And Brown Vaginal Discharge?

Hi, I am 21 years old. I have already had my period for 8 years. However, it was never regular from the start. Throughout the years, my period ranges from every 2 to 4 months. In the months that I do not have a regular period, I would have brown discharge instead. I went for scans but there were no abnormal signs. Should I be worried? Would I be able to conceive next time? Thank you.

Hi, I think you should get a thyroid profile and prolactin level done to see 8f there 8s any other problem. You can conceive but you may need some medicines for that. You can track your ovulation by repeated ultrasound to see if ovulation is happening or not. If ovulation is not happening, you may need some medicines like clomiphene for inducing ovulation. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
