Hello,
Thank you for your query.
Yes
trigestrel can cause all your symptoms.
Oral contraceptive pills are hormones that regulate or interfere with the body's hormone levels.
Nausea is one of the common side effects. Menstrual irregularities can also be present.
Pelvic pain, however, must be investigated.
I recommend :
-an
OBGYN consult
- an ultrasound to check for ovarian cysts and endometrial thickness.
- a pregnancy test if your are sexually active.
These side effects may last for a couple of weeks.
If, however, you continue to experience
irregular periods and pain, hormone analysis (thyroid hormone and reproductive hormones) needs to be done.
Maintain healthy weight and proper nutrition.
Do not take any medications without consulting your doctor first and let them know that trigestrel doesn't suit you.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health
