What Causes Irregular Periods And Severe Abdominal Cramps?
I have been having irregular periods, horrible cramps during my period and throughout the month. The bleeding is light. I also have epilepsy, so that would make any pregnacy high risk for me. I am on medication for it though. I know I don t want children. I am only 26, but should I consider an elective hysterectomy?

the crampy pain may be due to fibroid or adenomyosis...etc
so please go and visit gynaecologist.
the hystectomy is not advisable for your age.
since it is essential till ur menopause(ie 45 years)
problem with hystrectomy is that result in shut of your ovarian functions.
that results in potential complications such hot flushes, bloating, .....
so finally meet gynaecologist take her opinion.
