Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern. From what you are describing, it seems that you are having changes in your monthly cycle. If the heavy periods will get repeated this time, then, should consult with gynecologyst. A gynecological examination is highly recommended to rule out any serious problem like tumors. Plus, hormonal levels in the blood should get checked together with a complete blood count to rule out hormonal imbalance and anemia respectively.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have further queries.
