What Causes Irregular Periods, Breathing Difficulty And Lactation?
Hi there I am a little confused on what is going on with me. I had a normal peiod on October 11th to the 15th. And again on November 6th to the 9th (but was some what light). Then about a week after that I started lactating... only a couple small drops. Now I was supposed to get my period 2 days ago but ended up getting it on the 28th. It started off as pink discharge then got really heavy the next day with lower backache, basically bright red and watery. It stayed like that for 2 days the was light and then stopped. It lasted 4 days. Now I have been spotting pink for 3 days. I have been really tired lately and my breath are a little sore. I have an appointment t with my doctor on the 10th but I am worried because I don t know what this is. Is it a pregnancy, chemical pregnancy or nothing at all.
Galactorrhea (milky discharge from the breasts) can occur due to different causes such as: (1) side effect of medication eg contraception (2)thyroid diseases (3)kidney disease (4)mass secreting prolactin in the brain (5)excess breast manipulation.
If there is a chance of pregnancy then a test can be done. This is done 11 to 14 days after conception has occurred. At that time the test can detect HCG in the urine.
I hope this helps
