Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Irregular menses may be caused by many medical conditions. Some of these possible causes cmay include: -Hormonal imbalances(progesterone, ostrogen in particular).Other hormonal imbalance that may cause such symptoms are thyroid hormonal imbalance, but these may be eliminated in her case. -PID/STIs -Pelvic masses including ovarian cysts. These may be eliminated in her case since he pelvic USG was normal. -Stress/lifestyle factors In her case, a mostly like cause is ovarian hormonal dysfunction that may be corrected with oral contraceptive pills. Duoluton I is an oral contraceptive pill that may help correct her menstrual cycle if taken as recommende by the Doctor. Hope this will help Best regards
