hai.i have a problem of irregular periods.it takes 40 to 50 days every month.. my last day of periods is feb 23.. and i have a sex on april 14 .we used condoms during sex. and i have worry of my periods.. so please give me a sugestion to aviod pregnancy..
If, you are using a condom, properly, it is effective about 85%. Therefore, to confirm/rule out a pregnancy, you are advised to have an HPT done. To give you proper protection against pregnancy, you should use some hormonal birth control pill or hormonal implant, as their efficacy is in the range of 95-99 %. Also, the use of hormonal birth control pills will make your periods regular besides having a satisfactory contraceptive action.
