What Causes Irregular Periods In A Woman With Ovarian Cysts?

Good Morning doctor, i on behalf of my wife.. my wife has menstrual problem since her very childhood, and no precaution had taken before our marriage, but after marriage i became active to take very care of her regard her problem, i consulted with doctor they advised to took sonography and at sonography report it shown that there are multiple cysts are present at both overies otherwise ovary is normal, doctor prescribed to took harmony-f and as usual mens had started but after taking harmony-f no improved had been observed means if if taken harmony-f then period is normal otherwise not, again consult with doctor prescribe myoinositol , now under this prescribtion. Please doctor suggest me with your valuable tips.

Actually PCOD is attributed to life style than a disease.now a days this is common in girls.the main remedy is to see that one maintains ideal body weight that will result in regular menstruation.to maintain weight one has to take proper balanced diet and regular exercise. myo inositol is useful when combined with healthy life style.it alone cant cure irregular periods.your wife has to reduce fats in diet,has to take less oil,less sugar and less salt in food,more of fresh fruits and vegetables,boiled veg than fried ones,daily walking for 1hr if she is over weight,and regular medication will work. metformin is the alternative if she dont want myoinositol which she has to take after gynaecologist advise.
