Thanks for posting your question to Health Care Magic website,

According to the instructions posted by you, important concerns are menorrhagia (abnormal uterine bleeding in terms of amount and length known as AUB) and dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation). There are several problems that steadily affect menstruation period including Fibroids known as leiomyoma, Coagulation disorders while taking anticoagulant medications, rare cancers, “Pelvic inflammatory disease” Known as PID, Endometriosis (expanding endometrial tissue external to uterus), Adenomyosis ( endometrial tissue found within the wall of the uterus ), ovarian disorders, extreme emotional or somatic stress, etc.

According to the patient’s history, signs and symptoms, my recommendations are:

1.     Pap smear test to rule out any abnormal tissue and infections.
2.     Routine tests such as Urinalysis, CBC, Platelets, etc.
3.     Pelvic ultrasound and uterine scan( if suggested by gynecologist).
4.     Endometrial biopsy to rule out any neoplastic tissues and cancers in rare cases( if suggested by gynecologist).

Your treatment is mainly based on the results of your tests. Your gynecologist would assign you additional tests needed or prescribe appropriate medications.

Hope you get well soon,

Regards
