What Causes Irregular Periods Post Removal Of Dermoid Cyst?

Hi. I had a large dermoid cyst on my left ovary. My doctor had to remove my left tube and ovary while removing the dermoid. I also had a small dermoid cyst on my right ovary which he was able to shell out without really disturbing my ovary. My surgery was October 9. Since then I did have a period, but I am 4 days late this month. I was always every 28 days before my surgery. I was wanting to have another baby. Is it normal to be so irregular? Will it be possible for me to get pregnant with just one ovary?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the it is the irregular menses then it may not due to surgery of ovary but it may be due hormone changes, you can go for conception even if it is the surgery of cyst if ovulation is intact hope this information helps.
