General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Chronic uncontrolled disease can affect the periods so if your typhoid is still active and a problem then it is possible that it is affecting your period but there are also other causes.

Blood tests for hormone levels and an ultrasound of the uterus and ovaries are needed to check to see if there are any issues.

Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a common cause of irregular periods and infertility

Your doctor can do these tests for you.

I hope this helps
