What Causes Irregular Periods While Taking Contraceptive Pills?
I went to my dr to get my birth control updated and before I went I had finished my old packet so it had been 4 days since I had token a pill. She gave me new pills and said I could only start taking them when I start my next period. I was 5 days late and than finally got my period I thought but it only lasted one day and than stopped. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Does this have to do with not taking the pills and also I have been under a lot of stress and haven t been eating well?
The stress and dieting may have contributed to shorter periods. You should continue the contraception pills regularly every day starting from first day of period.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
