What Causes Irregular Periods With Dark Brown Clots After Removal Of Mirena?
Im 25, and just had my Mirena removed a month ago. I got my period on time right after it was removed but have had intercourse in the past month. A few days before my period was due, I was getting urges to urinate more and I had dark brown discharge once a day for two days. My period was two days late and started heavy (which is not how it normally starts ). I also noticed my cycle went from 28 days to 21. It is only day 3 of my period but am noticing more small dark brown clots and my period isn t as heavy although it is dark red and thicker than usual. Is it possible to be pregnant and still get my period? And also can I have implantation bleeding while I have my period?

As you got your iud removed recently irregular bleeding is common.You are unlikely to be pregnant as you were on iud,post implantation bleeding is also possible. If you want to confirm do urine pregnancy test preferably early morning sample to rule out pregnancy.
