What Causes Irregular Periods?

I have very irregular periods, I have only gotten one this year in February and before that was probably last October. This was been happening maybe for the last 3 years. My period was fine was the 2 years previous to that. I am 18. What could it be ?

Hi mam. Irregular periods could be due to many causes. U need to c whether there is hair fall, increase in weight and others. Kindly meet the gynaecologist and get an ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis, blood sugars, thyroid profile done. Once done, u can know the probable cause. Once diagnosis is established this condition can be taken care. thank U
