What Causes Irregular Shaped Painful Hives On Cheeks And Chin?

My daughter has irregular shaped hives, all over her cheeks, chin, and around eyes. She says it is painful to touch and very tight. Her tongue lips and any oral area is not swollen. I have a question for over everything and we cannot think of any food, as she has never had any allergies to that, detergent, make up, or otherwise. She has done nothing different than her regular routine.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It may be due to allergic eruption due to contact dermatitis. As a first line of management you can take antihistamines like Pheneramine for symptomatic relief. Also try low potency steroid creams like Betamethasone. If symptoms persist better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
