What Causes Irregular Vaginal Bleeding After Taking HCG Shot?

i have been wanting to conceive and visited a fertility expert, i had hcg injected last dec 8 , just this dec 21 my period arrived but a very light one and stopped on the 2nd day. i was wondering how to differentiate spotting from my normal monthly period.

Hi,

1.     Infection in the vagina can cause bleed itself or lead to dryness and cause bleeding
2.     Hymen break can cause bleeding for few if its 1st-time sex
3.     Allergic to semen (use a condom to identify)
4.     Dryness – infection, improper foreplay, dehydration, age factor, hormonal imbalance
5.     Forceful sex
6.     Normal menstrual bleeding (you may have early periods)
7.     Benign or malignant polyp.
8.     Foreign bodies due to unhygienic sex method, sex toys,
9.     Anatomical abnormalities
10.     Bleeding disorders
11.     vaginismus - fear during sex causes muscles in genital to contract and cause pain
12.     Eczema
13.     Deep penetration in few positions during sex
14.     History of surgery
