Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Irregular Vaginal Bleeding During Periods?
My period were supposed to come on 21july bt it came yesterday nd the flow is nt proper .WHY is so?It s like there was a slight bleeding yesterday in the morning nd then directly in the evening nd today in morning. The way it bleeds on 4-5 day it is bleeding on 1-2 day.IS IT NORMAL?
As per my clinical experience, the current condition of lighter bleeding indicates possible alteration in homeostasis of hypothalamus pituitary axis pausing effects over uterus. As there is slight amount of bleeding, it is of not worrisome issue, if there was severe and heavy bleeding with clots, there would have been chance of getting anemia development. Kindly wait till the period of next menses cycle to get it regularised, or else consult your OBGYN for further guidelines.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
